Restore the Original Movie Theater in Clanton, AL

One of the best things about our theater is its rustic charm. We are located downtown in a stretch of buildings with original and historic architecture. Many residents have fond memories of the old Wadesonian Theater, the original occupant of this site. The theater has been vacant for quite some time and needs a substantial amount of work. The building is about 100 years old and, although the bones are good, it will need extensive renovations before we can get it up and running. This is the part we need help with! The building needs to be redone from top to bottom, inside and out. This requires a roof, sheetrock repair and replacement, plumbing, electricity, lighting fixtures, bathroom fixtures, doors, windows, ceiling tiles, etc. No donation is too small - we are grateful for every gift. With resiliency and hard work, I am confident that I can turn this theater into a lively space and get it back to its former glory.
