The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and advised they have located fugitive Franchester Bowen, 54.
On June 8, 2023, investigators asked for assistance locating Bowen who was originally wanted for theft of services 1st degree. Court documents indicated that Bowen did not pay for lodging by deception, threat, or other means to avoid payment while staying at a Montgomery area hotel. The services exceeded a value of $2,500.00.
Investigators credit an anonymous tip provided through CrimeStoppers with providing the whereabouts of Bowen. The information ultimately led to the apprehension of Bowen.
